The supposed office of Lucien the Zoroark, this office instead holds his secretary, Gwenneth the Gothitelle, whom serves in the same way as a normal guildmaster - assigning missions, deciding on test locations, rewarding those who complete missions, etc.
For those new to the guild, this is one of the two places to visit, the other being the dojo. Here, you can find out about your first trial, and receive your first missions.

It was midday when the latest hopeful entered the Guildmaster's office, his face plastered with a look of mixed curiosity, fear, and determination. He looked to be a young Growlithe, not possibly over the age of 13, and somewhat smaller than many of his kin but he had gone to where many of them had not.
It was impossible not to guess his intentions for coming here, especially when he walked straight up to the desk and said "Ex-excuse me, mam?" as soon as he was sure she wasn't overly busy and could deal with him.

The Gothitelle looked up from her desk, surprise evident on her face.
"Ah, hello there! I guess you're a new recruit, correct?"

The Growlithe nodded, getting a better grip on his fear in the process.
"Yes, mam."

The Gothitelle smiled, and made a gentle gesture.
"Please, relax. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm Gwenneth, the functional guildmaster of Seeker. What's your name?"

At this the Growlithe let out a little sigh, glad that he was indeed in the right place, and ventured a small smile.
"My name is Stroke, mam, Stroke of the Pleasent Forest Pack."

"Well, Stroke, I take it you want to become a member?" the Gothitelle asked, a faint smile on her moody-looking face.

The Growlithe nodded once more.
"Yes I do, mam."

"Well, which area do you desire to work in? Rescue teams, Treasure hunting, or Infiltration?" Gwenneth smiled politely, a notepad in front of her as she jotted down a small note.

Stroke answered immediately, evidently having already decided prior to coming to the guild.
"Rescue team, mam. That will put my nose to use the best."

Gwenneth's smile broadened, and nodded to the young Growlithe.
"Well, I think you should show us your skills. Um, there's a mission available in the Misty Cavern, which you seem to be the right level to explore. A Whiscash contacted us, saying that her child, a Barboach, hasn't come home after going into the Cavern alone. Reports have also come in of a few Machop with street gang-brands emerging from the Cavern half an hour after the Whiscash's request arrived. I don't exactly have many teams available at the moment, so do you feel up to a short venture through Misty Cavern, to finalize your membership?" Gwenneth linked her hands behind her back, watching the Growlithe closely.

Stroke's eyes narrowed slightly as he thought the proposition over: He was weak to water types, and a place by the name of Misty Cavern was sure to contain more than a few. On top of that, he wouldn't have any sort of support other than the Oran he had hidden on the top of his head, so this might be one venture he might not return from.
On the other paw, however, this was his chance to show that he was worthy enough to be a part of the Seekers; and chances like that don't rear their faces often. Furthermore, should he refuse it was almost certain he wouldn't be accepted into the Guild, meaning he would have to return home. To his siblings.
Stoke clamped his eyes shut and shook his head rapidly, banishing the thought of the ridicule he'd have to endure should he go back home.
There's no way I'm going back to that!
His determination multiplied tenfold by that mental mental debate, the young Growlithe opened his eyes and locked them straight onto the Gothitelle's.
"I'm your Growlithe."

Gwenneth smiled, and nodded.
"I thought as much. Misty Cavern is known for Water, Bug and Poison types, so be careful, but I have faith that you'll succeed."

The Growlithe grimaced at the mention of water types, his assumption having been proven true, but he nodded nonetheless.
"Thank you, mam. May I know the name of the Barboach I'll be looking for?"

"Apparently, her name is Nel. She'll be hiding, so good luck to you." Gwenneth then placed a small item on the desk, in front of Stroke - take this, it's a teleport stone, which will bring you back here when you complete your mission.
